Tapsa, the enabler of adventures

Imagine a workplace where you help people find the perfect gear for their outdoor adventures. Whether it's an e-fatbike cycling trip, cruising in a Coopop electric vehicle, or a canoe ride on the shimmering waves of Lake Pielinen, Tapio—affectionately known as "Tapsa"—cheerfully ensures that customers’ adventures are possible. Whether it’s a winter holiday, summer vacation, or the scenery of fall or spring, Tapsa guarantees memorable adventures for customers all year round.

Tapsa enjoys a job where he gets to spend a significant amount of time outdoors. Meeting and guiding customers comes naturally to him, and he also works as a lifeguard at Bomba Spa.

“At Bomba Safari’s equipment rental, a key part of the job is trying out new products and testing potential new activities. This way, I can personally recommend different activities based on the customer’s preferences, and at the same time, I get to learn a lot myself,” Tapsa explains about his role.

Water adventures are a favorite of Tapsa’s, and as a way to break away from the daily grind, he enjoys swimming, boating, and fishing with friends. When it comes to the experiences offered by Bomba Safari, he recommends trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), either by getting acquainted with the beautiful wilderness lake Pielinen on guided tours or by renting a SUP board for a self-guided adventure.

In addition to his active job, Tapsa also enjoys physical hobbies. Besides walking his dogs and going to the gym, he is passionate about martial arts and judo. Life at home is lively, as Tapsa’s family includes his partner, an 8-year-old son, a 2.5-year-old daughter, two dogs, and six cats.

“It’s a pleasure to work with such fantastic colleagues, and in an honest atmosphere filled with good humor, both our employees and customers feel right at home,” Tapsa sums up.
