Experience the hidden magic of Finland's fourth-largest lake in the twilight of an autumn evening. As evening descends, the lake’s surroundings take on an entirely new character, different from the daylight hours. With the fading light, other senses sharpen. You can feel the lake's surface moving against your kayak and hear the distant calls of loons. Or perhaps your attention is drawn to the dark silhouettes of the surrounding hills and the lights along the shores of Nurmes?
The guide will teach you paddling techniques and go over safety instructions before departure. Each participant will control their own kayak, so this tour requires good physical fitness and prior kayaking experience. If you have limited kayaking experience, we recommend starting with a shorter one-hour tour.
